The concept behind it is laughing without jokes, comedy or humor. It utilizes Yoga breathing techniques to energize the mind and the body plus an interactive exercise in order to spread Joy.
Medical Studies revealed that there is no difference between faked and real laughter. Some of the benefits of laughter yoga includes but is not limited to prevention of cancer, perfect cardio-vascular work-out, prevention of depression, prevention of high blood pressure and stroke, increase in the immune system, lowering of cholesterol levels and blood sugar, improvement of EQ and IQ and many more.
The workshop will focus on teaching the participants the proper and scientific way of Laughing. Through interactive exercises and some body movements the participant will be able to let go their stressors. An introduction to the Healing Power of Laughter will also be touched and how to heal diseases through Laughter (Chakral Healing).

Paolo Trinidad founded and popularized Pinoy Laughter Yoga in the Philippines. He is the first Certified Laughter Yoga Professor of the Philippines. He trained in Bangalore, India under the Laughter Yoga International Founder, Dr. Madan Kataria.
