Social Entrepreneurship Seminar

The bible says give a man a fish and you will feed him for one day. But teach him how to fish and you will feed him and his family for life. Social entrepreneurship is the creation of sustainable social enterprises that provide solutions to social problems of communities where they operate.

The essence of social entrepreneurship is to create livelihood projects that will generate local employment through the creation of goods and/or providing services that are needed by customers or clientele. In turn, income generated is plowed back to sustain the business or is used to provide vital services for its beneficiaries.

These sustainable social enterprises can then become engines of innovations that will change the economic landscape of depressed communities and uplift the living conditions of the people living in said communities.
